The room was compact but cozy with two beds, fitting for a quick stop. Recent updates to the bathroom stood out. the rainfall shower head offered a nice touch. Having a mini fridge and microwave added convenience for late-night snacks. Parking right in front of the room made unloading easy. However, the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, and the noise from the AC unit was disruptive, especially at night. A few flies in the room raised some concerns about cleanliness, but the space felt secure. The quirky vibe might appeal to some, but I expected more upkeep for a comfortable stay.

Ideal choice for a weekend escape in Carrizozo with very good value for money. The spacious room made relaxing easy, especially after a long drive. Stop by the Four Winds Restaurant next door for a quick dinner. it's super convenient!
